Templates Management

The fundamental tool for creating VMs using the Sunlight Platform is via templates.

The sunlight Platform has the ability to import templates from various sources.

The following links provide more detail on the ways to make templates available to Sunlight clusters:

Warning

For custom images the following must apply:

We only support ext3/ext4 filesystem types

The root partition (main path `/`) must be the first partition of the virtual disk

We do not support `/boot` partition, everything must be under main path `/`
